The British Columbia Specialty-Use Vehicle Incentive (SUVI) Program
Please complete this Application in full, and submit the Application with all supporting documentation. The application must be submitted within 90 days of the purchase and before March 1, 2022 in order to qualify for the grant. Applicants can apply for more than one vehicle rebate, however, each vehicle must be applied for separately (i.e. one vehicle per form). Late Applications will not be processed.
***The Forklift category of the program has been removed. All forklift orders that can show proof of deposit before the removal of the forklift category on August 5th 2020, will be eligible to receive the incentive as long as they still meet all the original program criteria.
***Applicants for cargo e-bikes, on road medium and heavy duty vehicles, utility vehicles, airport, and port specialty vehicles must have a valid B.C. business licence or be a non-profit organization or a public entity.
Applicant must be an individual, a business, a non-profit, or a public entity
If you are applying as business/fleets, a copy of the valid business license must be uploaded with the application.
You need to submit copies of proof of id, utility bills, vehicle insurance, vehicle registrations and the Worksafe BC number.
Vehicle should purchased through authorized dealers or directly from the OEMs
The unit should be listed on the SUVI eligibility list
Applications for any vehicle category incentive must be received within 90 days of purchasing the vehicle.
If the vehicle is leased, it must be for a minimum of 12 months (any broken lease may result in a repayment of grant)
All businesses, purchasing eligible vehicles through SUVI program will under go an auditing process.
